The anime series adapted from a Japanese visual novel premiered on April 5, 2014, on Tokyo MX. It's a reverse harem anime which means that a female lead is surrounded by multiple male characters. While the genre is not as popular as the regular romance fiction, it does have some smash hits and was the very reason that Kamigami no Asabi attracted significant audience numbers. Mythological, humorous, and heartwarming with a dash of romance, the anime scored a rating on MyAnimeList and a 7/10 rating on IMDB. Despite an excellent rating, the show failed to get picked up for a second season. Perhaps it was meant to be a one-season anime because the storyline was pretty definitive. About the show Yui Kusanagi discovers a mysterious sword, which transports her to a different world where she meets the Greek god Zeus. He invites her to attend a school in a separate world that he created. I'm pretty sure if they think hard enough then they can make a season 2 if they want it to also do you knot know how many fans have done their own series on a anime or cartoon that they love?? there are literally quite a few and some are pretty good despite some of them needing to work on the art style besides that they are pretty good. FMA is an established manga with a humongous following. Kamiaso has nothing left after that, and this is a small tiny niche series. Fanworks are another different field and thatâ€™s for themselves to work on, this is an official series and that is up for the developers to decide if it is still relevant and profitable or not. Anime needs timing, money, a lot of factors, some of these small series are just not profitable or gaining of an audience, tough luck no matter how much you like it.
